Illustfolio Lumina - The Portfolio Site Template for Illustrators

Illustfolio Lumina / Legal

Illustfolio Lumina is frequently updated with feature additions and bug fixes.

You can keep your Illustfolio Lumina up to date using the following method.

<aside> ⚠️ If you have modified the theme's code, updating the theme will cause the modifications to be lost. Please back up the modified parts before starting the update process.

Download

The download method depends on how you purchased Illustfolio Lumina.

Please follow the instructions that apply to your purchase method below.

A: Credit Card or PayPal (You received a receipt by email)

1. Go to the Order History page.
2. Enter the email address you used when purchasing.
   • You can check this email address in your receipt email (subject: Illustfolio Lumina receipt).
3. You’ll receive a login link at that email address within a few seconds.
4. Click the link to view your purchase history and download the latest file.

If multiple versions appear on the download page, please download the ZIP file with the latest version number.

B: Purchased via BOOTH

1. Visit your BOOTH order history page.
2. Click on the item to download the ZIP file.

Extract

Extract the downloaded Zip file (Right-click and select "Extract All" on Windows).

This will extract the index.html file.

Apply the theme

• Open the index.html file of Illustfolio Lumina with an application that can open HTML files (e.g., Notepad on Windows, TextEdit on Mac), and copy the entire code.

<aside> ⚠️ If using Mac’s TextEdit:

1. From the top menu bar, go to TextEdit > Settings...
2. Select the "Open and Save" tab, and check the box for “Display HTML files as HTML code instead of formatted text.”
3. Close the settings window to finish.

By enabling this setting, HTML files will open correctly as code. For more details, please refer to Apple’s official help page: “Always open HTML files in code-editing mode”

It should be displayed as shown in the screenshot on the right below.

❌ Incorrect:

✅ Correct:

• In the Tumblr theme customization screen, click "Edit HTML".

• Delete all the original theme code and paste the code for Illustfolio Lumina, then click “Update Preview.”
  • Don’t worry — nothing will change until you click “Save.”
• Check the preview on the right to make sure everything looks correct.
• If the preview looks good, click “Save” to apply the changes.
